Médoc appellation is located in the north of the peninsula where a great majority of AOC Médoc wines come from.

The appellation covers 5 560 hectare representing 34% of the Medocan vineyard and is planted of Cabernet-SauvignonMalbec, and Merlot. The average production represents 300 000 hl.  

These wines have an infinite palette of aromas depending on the great variety of terroir. Fine ruby red, wines are characterised by their distinction, roundness and balance. 

The soils and subsoils of Médoc terroir are extremely varied. Considering the large area, the appellation has the three kinds of Médoc terroirs: Garonne gravel, Pyrenean gravel and clay and limestone soils.
