Moulis-en-Médoc appellation is situated half way between Margaux and Saint-Julien, running perpendicular to the Gironde Estuary.

The vineyards covers 610 hectares and are planted of Cabernet-Franc, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Merlot and Carménère, representing a production around 24 000 hl of red wines each year.

The wines of the appellation show great finesse and an intense generosity. Their charm is characterised by their fine, deep and intense ruby robe, their elegant bouquet of aromas complex and powerful with a very fine structure and surprisingly long on the palate.

The vineyards are exceptionaly diversified and mixed different terroirs: pure Garonne and Pyrenean gravel with clayey limestone. The specialists say that Moulis is “a terrific concentration of the Médoc Vineyard”.
