Pessac-Léognan appellation is situated on the South outskirt of Bordeaux, in the North of the Graves area.
The Vineyard covers 1 600 hectares and produce mostly red wines, around 67 000 hl per year, and any dry white wines, around 16 000 hl per year.
The exceptional terroir is a mix of gravel, pebbles, sand and clay soils. Combines with the microclimate, it allows the well growing and the typical expression of red grape varieties: Cabernet-Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec and white grape varieties: Sauvignon, Semillon and Muscadelle.
The reds are elegant and powerful, the bouquet develops ripe red fruits and floral aroma notes. The aromatic palette liven up smoke touch, toast and especially leather.
The whites shows also complexity. They develops deep and delicate aromas with toast, lemon and exotic fruits notes.
