Saint-Estèphe appellation is situated in the centre of the Médoc area, close to the Gironde Estuary and at equidistance from Bordeaux and the Pointe de Grave.
The 1 230 hectares of vineyard are planted of traditional red grape varieties: Cabernet-Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. They produce around 55 000 hl of red wine each years.
The ideal climate and the remarkable diversity of soils, mix of quartz, well-rounded pebbles, sandy on the surface with limestone subsoil, produce wines characterized by a complexity and a robust constitution.
Wines have a very rich tannic structure, a fine deep red colour and an exceptional backbone with aromas of great finesse.
