Saint-Julien appellation is situated in the Northern part of Bordeaux region, in the Médoc area between Pauillac and Margaux.

The terroir is particularly suitable for Cabernet-Sauvignon, Cabernet FrancMerlotMalbec and Petit Verdot which are covering 910 hectares of the surface. The production represents average 42 000 hl of red wines per year.

The vineyard grows mainly on soils of gravel, marls and pebbles, giving to the wines a unique style, very harmonious and elegant. Saint-Julien wines have body, richness and a delicious and delicate perfume.

Note: In spite of its small surface (the appellation is the smallest of Médoc area), Saint-Julien gathers 11 Grands Crus Classés.
