Montagne Saint-Emilion

Montagne Saint-Emilion appellation is located between Pomperol in the West and Saint Emilion in the South.

The 1 600 havineyard of the appelation nestles in the middle of the most prestigious terrois of the Libourais. Traditionally, the wines are blend with different grapes varietals: Merlot, Cabernet-Franc, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Malbec et Petit Verdot, representing a production average 91 000 ha per year.

The vineyards are planted on ancient soils, sloping and clay-limestone, giving to the wines a good discrete tannic asssie, finesse and complexity. With time, the wines became rich with varied aromatic palette typical of the terroir, combining delicately fruits, mineral and spices aromas.
