Saint-Georges Saint-Émilion

Saint-Georges Saint-Émilion appellation is facing the Saint Emilion plateau, separated by a small river named Barbanne in the Libournais area.

The vineyards planted on a remarkable geological surface, covers only 200 hectares and products an average of 10 000 hl of red wines per year.

The soils of the terroir are almost exclusively clayey limestone. This conditions help ensure that the grapes are perfectly ripe and reach their optimal expression.

The wines are full-bodied, powerful and impose their personality by a solid tannic construction.
