Canon-Fronsac appellation is located in west of Libourne and is one of the smallest appellation of Bordeaux region.
Planted of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet-Sauvignon, the 280 ha of vineyard produces around 13 000 hl of red wines each year.
The complex soils are close to those of Saint-Emilion and combines mainly limestone, clay-limestone, starfish limestone and Fronsac's Molasse.
The characteristics of the terroir gives fairly delicate wines distinguishing by their aromas of red berries and spices.
